Qualified candidates from WASCAL member countries are invited to submit applications for Graduate Research Program on Climate Change and Agriculture. This program is being supported by IPR/IFRA of Katibougou, in partnership with the University of Bamako, Mali. This program mainly focuses on how to tackle the challenges of Climate Change (CC)adaptation through capacity building and scientific research. For this program good command on English Language is required.

- MSc official transcript or equivalent
- transcript of grades for the obtainment of MSc or equivalent
- abstract of the MSc Dissertation
- transcripts of previous university degrees
- transcript of grades for the obtainment of university degrees
- detailed CV
- letter of motivation
- a concept note (3 to 5 pages) outlining the justification, objectives, methodology and expected outcomes of a research idea.
- support letter from employer
- names and contact details of 3 referees, one of whom must be his/her Master’s supervisor.
Eligibility & criteria-
- Candidates must be from the WASCAL countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, The Gambia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, and Togo)
- Candidates must not be more than 40 years
- Candidates must have a Master’s Degree, or its equivalent in Soil Science, Crop Science, Agro-forestry, Forestry, Animal Science, IPM or other relevant disciplines, with at least an average of 60 % (Second Upper Class, Assez Bien)
- Experience with modeling routines or GIS would be an advantage but not a prerequisite
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply
