Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan invites applications from Pakistani Nationals for the 2012 Fellowships in various fields of Agriculture offered by The Egyptian International Centre for Agriculture (EICA), Government of Egypt.
Field of Study:
Project analysis; Integrated pest Management; Vegetable Production; Agriculture Services; Cotton Production & Technology; Poultry production & health; Rural development; Animal production & Health; Fish Culture Development; Land &Water Management
Eligibility Criteria:
-Educational qualification, at least four years B.Sc degree in Agriculture.
-Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
– Medically fit (candidates have to submit medical report/ certificate)
– Three years of work experience in the subject of the course.
– Must be a Government Employee and apply through proper channel.
– Age below 45 years.
– The nominee’s Government (not HEC) will bear incidental expenses such as passport, visa processing fee and vaccination as well as payment of participant’s salary and emoluments during his / her training.

Financial Benefits:
The government of Egypt will bear following expenses:
Tuition cost, Full board accommodation, Free Medical care (excluding dental treatment and chronic diseases), Pocket money of 40 L.E per day, Round Trip air ticket, and Transportation cost.
