Interested applicants are invited to submit proposals for Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development under Europe aid. This project aims to facilitate their involvement in policy formulation and their capacity to deliver basic services to the poorest sections of the population in developing countries and so help reduce poverty in a context of sustainable development.
Objectives–
- benefit populations out of reach of mainstream services and resources and excluded from policy making processes
- strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations in partner countries, with a view to facilitating their participation in defining and implementing poverty reduction and sustainable development strategies
- facilitate interaction between State and non-State actors in different contexts.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be Non State Actor (NSA)
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or Pakistan or other eligible countries as per the relevant provisions of the DCI regulation
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary and
- be able to demonstrate to have regularly carried out activities in the field of development of the kind covered by this programme.
