University College of Agriculture, Sargodha, Pakistan is inviting applications for PhD studies in the agriculture related disciplines at the Universities of USA, UK, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, China and other HEC identified countries and Local Universities in Pakistan (Recognized by HEC). Candidates selected for the award of scholarships shall be offered faculty positions at University College of Agriculture, University of Sargodha.
Disciplines
Agronomy; Plant Pathology; Agriculture Extension; Animal Sciences; Forestry; and Entomology.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
– The applicant should be Nationals of Pakistan.
– The applicants must have passed the HEC test conducted by NTS as per their policy. However, for studies at the universities in USA the Tofel and GRE test shall be required.
– After the selection, the final grant of scholarship shall be subject to the confirmation of admission of the candidate in a foreign / Local University.
– The selection shall be made through the interviews conducted by the selection board of Universities of Sargodha.
– The selected candidate shall serve as Lecturer at University College of Agriculture for the intervening period before proceeding abroad / local for studies.
– Consequent upon the completion of their PhD studies the candidate will be inducted as Assistant Professor under Tenure Track System in the faculty of University College of Agriculture, University of Sargodha.
– The candidates shall be required to follow prescribed codal formalities before leaving for higher studies abroad.
– Maximum age limit for grant of scholarship is 35 years relaxable in the case of Government / Semi Government employee in exceptional cases.
