Are you a Filipino between 18-30 years of age? The British Council in partnership with the Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF), University of Northampton, and Social Enterprise Development Partnerships, Inc invites you to participate in I am a Changemaker Social Enterprise Ideation Camp to be conducted from 19-25 October 2014 in Bohol, Philippines. This year, the organizers are looking for Changemakers for Resiliency, Reconstruction, and Recovery who can use social enterprise as a means to create visions for a better, secure, and safer future.
The camp will bring together 40 youth willing to be leaders of social change in their communities. The Changemakers will be enabled to tap into their creative side and offer a space to exchange, foster thinking and collaborate the groundbreaking social innovation through social enterprise. Ideas generated during the camp that best fit the Changemaker criteria gets seed funding of Php100,000 each for implementation.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be Filipino citizen between 18-30 years of age during the camp (19-25 October 2014).
- Applicants must commit to attend the entire camp or total 7 days.
- Applicants must commit to adhere to the camp’s Code of Conduct.
