European Commission has issued a restricted call for proposals aimed at supporting the work of civil society organization in the Philippines, including human rights organizations, in support of vulnerable and socially excluded groups with a particular focus on supporting the empowerment of these groups to claim their rights, including their social, economic and cultural rights.
Objective:
Strengthening the role of civil society in promoting human rights and democratic reform, in facilitating the peaceful conciliation of group interests and in consolidating political participation and representation
Focal Themes
– Support to Human Rights Defenders and their families
– Protection of the rights of women and children, in particular the prevention of trafficking, domestic violence and protection of children affected by armed conflict
– Promotion of social, cultural and economic rights of vulnerable and marginalized groups including indigenous peoples, in particular with regard to access to basic services
Size of Grants
Any grant awarded under this program must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
– minimum amount: EUR 100 000.00
– maximum amount: EUR 300 000.00
Note. This is a restricted Call for Proposals. In the first instance, only Concept Notes must be submitted for evaluation .Thereafter, applicants whose Concept Notes have been pre-selected will be invited to submit a Full Application Form
