All eligible applicants are invited to submit entries for health issues that educate the audience how to lead a healthier life under the Department of Health National Center for Health Promotion. The mission of this program is to to highlight and commend the efforts of Filipino media practitioners who have been able to provide stories on health issues that educate and empower the audience to lead a healthier life, and contribute to an improved quality of life.
The winners will have the opportunity to win trophy and cash prize of P10,000. A journalist may be awarded for a maximum of two stories.

Eligibility and Criteria-
Filipinos working (full/part time or freelance) in print, television, radio and online media organizations, and bloggers, are encouraged to submit stories on health that fit the following criteria-
- Focused on various issues related to “Kalusugan Pangkalahatan” or universal healthcare, including social health insurance, health facilities, safe motherhood, child nutrition and family planning
- Published or broadcast in a bona fide media outlet, or posted online, between the dates of January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012, and January 1, 2013 to June 30, 2013.
- Written in English or Filipino. Entries in local language are accepted but must also include an English translation
