Deadline: 15 April 2015
The UN Women in the Philippines has issued a call for proposals for strengthening of women migrant workers (WMW) organizations and/or their support groups and networks to effectively promote and protect WMW rights under the EU-funded Global Initiative on Promoting and Protecting Women Migrant Workers’ Labour and Human Rights: Engaging with International, National Human rights Mechanisms to Enhance Accountability.
Civil society organizations are invited to implement activities to support capacity building of women migrant workers (WMW) organizations and/or their support groups to effectively engage with target groups and enhance their accountability to them.
This will be achieved through organized and active participation of WMW organizations and their support groups in capacity building activities that are critical to their duties in promoting WMWs rights and protecting WMW against exploitation and exclusion at all stages of migration.
