European Union invites projects for Strengthening the Administrative and Performance Capacity of the Ministry of Transport and Transport Institutions in the Republic of Serbia under Europe Aid. The major purpose of the project is to develop the capacities of the Ministry of Transport and transport institutions and to adopt and to implement the relevant EU acquis in the area of transport.
Objective of the project is to contribute to the creation of a competitive transport system of Serbia by improving the administrative capacity of national institutions dealing with transport issues and its integration into the European system. The overall amount available for this call is EUR 1,662,500 and the project should be completed in 24 months.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Only Public Administrations and Mandated bodies as per Twinning Manual of European Union MS may apply through European Union MSs’ National Contact Points.
- Project leader must –
- Be high-ranking official in a MS Transport Administration at a level appropriate for the necessary political dialogue.
- Hold University degree in transport, law, public administration or equivalent.
- Have at least 10 years of professional experience in the transport field that coincides with at least one of the transport modes covered by the Twinning Fiche.
- Have experience e in and knowledge of general structure and constituents of EU transport legislation and its implementation in MS.
- Have experience in project management.
- Have working knowledge of English language; computer literacy and good communication skills.
