The Foundation for Human Rights in partnership with the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ&CD) has issued a call for proposals for Amarightza program also known as ‘Socio-Economic Justice for All-(SEJA).
One of the main objectives of the SEJA programme is to contribute towards the promotion, protection and realisation of socio economic rights. This call will support programmes aimed at creating awareness of socio economic rights. While recognizing that all human rights are universal, indivisible and interdependent, socio-economic rights are particularly important in the South African context of widespread poverty and inequality.
Funding Information
The funding of one year or multi-year projects shall be subject to availability of budget allocations and be at the discretion of the Foundation.
- Proposals for a one year project is limited to an amount of R 120 000,00
- Proposals for a multi-year project must not exceed R 240,000.00
