Macquarie University is offering Scholarship opportunity to South African applicants in the area of Children’s Literature. This program is also supported by South African High Commissioner.
The scholarship covers international student tuition fees for up to 4 years, depending on the duration of the combined program. The scholarship also includes a stipend as follows: MRES Year 2: $16,000 per annum PhD: A stipend is offered for three years at the standard APA rate, which is indexed annually ($24,653 per annum in 2013). This project also has the support of the Commonwealth Education Trust who will offer extra funding for one conference (including travel) and a two-three month paid internship either during the tenure of the scholarship or at its completion.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants will be considered who have prior suitable qualifications such as an Honors 1 or Honors 1 equivalent in a relevant research area,
- a Master’s by Philosophy, or an International Master’s with a major research component (may be eligible for direct entry into the second year of the MRES program or direct PhD admission).
