Deadline: 7 March 2014
United States Institute of Peace (USIP) is inviting Sudanese and South Sudanese for Youth Leaders Program. Major aim of the program is to provide youth leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to grow as leaders and contribute to their communities.
The youth leaders are brought to Washington D.C. to focus on a self-led research project relevant to conflict prevention, conflict management, peace-building and/or democratization in Sudan and/or South Sudan for approximately four months. This is a way of supporting the next generation of leaders that will help secure and sustain peace, security, and democracy in Sudan and South Sudan.
