The Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) is calling applications for NGO programs benefiting refugees in Uganda, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

- Duration of Activity: 12, 24, or 36 months
- Funding limit for Uganda and DRC: $1,000,000
- Funding limit for Tanzania: $500,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with IRS, other than institutions of higher education, Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status with IRS, other than institutions of higher education; and International Organizations are eligible.
- must have a concrete implementation plan with well-conceived objectives and indicators that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and reliable, time-bound, and trackable (SMART), have established baselines, and include at least one out comeor impact indicator per objective; objectives should be clearly linked to the sectors.
- Proposals must adhere to relevant international standards for humanitarian assistance.
- PRM strongly encourages programs that target the needs of potentially vulnerable and underserved groups among the beneficiary population (women; children; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or intersex (LGBTI) individuals; older persons; the sick; persons with disabilities; and other minorities) and can demonstrate what steps have been taken to meet the specific and unique protection and assistance needs of these vulnerable groups effectively.
