Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State (ECA) is seeking applications for Fulbright foreign language teaching assistant program (FLTA). This is an opportunity for young, international teachers of English to refine their teaching skill, increase their English language proficiency and extend their knowledge of cultures and customs of the United States while engaging in non-degree studies.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be a Thai citizen in good health
- be teachers of English at Thai universities or secondary schools
- possess the equivalence of a U.S. Bachelor’s degree
- be between at least 21 and no more than 35 years old be physically present in Thailand at the time of interview
- have a TOEFL score of no less than 213 (CBT) or 550 (paper-based) or 79-80 (IBT) or 6.0 (IELTS) on a test taken within two years prior to the date of application must return to Thailand upon completion of the nine-month program
- The Program will NOT support any extension requests for applicants demonstrate maturity, dependability, integrity and professionalism
- be disqualified if plagiarism is found in application
