All interested applicants are being invited to submit applications for Actors of Urban Change Program offered under Robert Bosch Stiftung. The purpose of this program is to achieve sustainable and participatory urban development through cultural activities.
Topics covered-
From the program’s perspective, urban change is not focused on formal processes of urban planning or development, but rather on strengthening community-driven engagement for local urban development through cultural activities. In this context, potential topics to be dealt with include citizen’s participation, affordable housing/gentrification, inclusion/integration, cultural diversity, accessibility of (formerly) public urban resources and spaces, sustainable mobility and transportation, health and physical activity, green city/climate change etc.
Program offers-
Local Level–
- Project grants of up to 5,000 EUR
- Local project-related and tailor-made support by experts of up to 5,000 EUR
International Level–
- Workshops and lectures by international experts
- Peer learning sessions moderated by experienced trainers
- Shadowing internships in the city of other project participants (up to 10 days)
- Reimbursement of all travel expenses and accommodation related to the Kick-Off Forum, the three academy sessions, the final meeting as well as for the shadowing internships
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants who are working in cultural scene, public administration or the private sector are eligible to apply.
- Applicants who have project ideas on how to contribute to the development of city, together with partners from other sectors, and in a participatory and sustainable way may apply.
- Applicants are expected to have a strong interest in cross-sector collaboration through cultural projects as well as international exchange. A good command of English is a requirement for participation.
- Applications are welcome from all 47 Council of Europe member states and Belarus.
