Cultural journalists, including arts writers, critics and academics to attend three festivals organized by Unpack the Arts these are-
- CIRCa Festival, 24 – 27 October 2013 (Auch, France)
- London International Mime Festival, 9 – 11 January 2014 (London, UK)
- Subcase, 12 -15 February 2014 (Stockholm, Sweden)
The purpose of this program is to facilitate the circulation of knowledge and experience, to develop the critical discourses of its participants, and to further the role of the media within the circus arts and contemporary society.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Cultural journalists, including arts writers, critics and theorists, working for (online) magazines, newspapers, radio, television, new media platforms, or any other form of media.
- Media professionals focusing on the performing arts – no knowledge of contemporary circus is required
- Cultural journalists who are still active in their field and have preferably 3 years experience or more
- Journalists who have a good level of spoken and written English, and who live in one of the 35 countries participating in the Culture programme of the European Commission
