Funding opportunity has been announced for Gender Equality Program under Progress and EU. Theme for this program is gender pay gap and gender equality in economic decision-making. The purpose of this program is to support actions from the civil society and other relevant stakeholders to promote equality between women and men and to achieve the objectives defined in the Commission’s Strategy for Equality between Women and Men 2010-2015 and in the European Pact for Gender Equality 2011-2020.
Objectives–
- Actions addressing the gender pay gap
- Actions promoting gender balance in economic decision-making positions
The total estimated budget available for this call for proposals is EUR 3 618 122. Projects should have an initial duration not exceeding 24 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- The applicant organisation must be legally constituted and registered at the time of the submission of the application and be a non-profit making body, such as non-governmental organisations, social partners, higher education institutions, research centres and institutes
- Only organisations/legal entities can participate: natural persons
- The applicant must be established in an eligible PROGRESS participating country
- partners must have their own legal status and be registered in one of the PROGRESS participating countries at the time of the submission of the application under the call. The partners can be profit making organisations; however, and in any case, the project must be non-profit making
