The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Uganda invites applications from local and US non-profit organizations to improve health, nutrition, education, and psychological wellbeing, and reduce abuse, exploitation and neglect among children and youth orphaned and made vulnerable by HIV (OVC) and other adversities in Uganda.
The purpose of this substantial investment is to enable more than 367,000 Ugandan children, youth and their caregivers, particularly HIV affected children and youth in Northern and Eastern Regions, to access core services for improving health, nutrition, food security, education, and psychological well-being and to prevent, and respond to child abuse, exploitation and neglect. The USAID/Uganda will sign one or more cooperative agreement of five-year under this call. The maximum grant amount for project implementation is $23,500,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be US or non-US organizations, non-profit, or for-profit entity.
- USAID encourages applications from potential new partners.
- Applications must clearly mention at least 5% cost share.
- Applications must be submitted electronically via email.
