The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Uganda has launched an open competition to seeking proposals from local and international organizations on projects leading to the improvement of lives of vulnerable children and their families living in conditions of critical and moderate vulnerability.
The goal of the program is to decrease the vulnerability of children currently classified as critically and moderately vulnerable within families and communities through four key objectives:
- Improve the socio-economic status of vulnerable children (VC) households.
- Improve the food security and nutrition status of VC and their household members.
- Promote and provide child protection and legal services to VC and their household members.
- Strengthen the capacity of vulnerable women and children and their households to access, acquire or provide other critical services.
