The States Agency for International Development (USAID) Uganda is accepting grant applications from US and non-US non-profit or for-profit entities for Health Integration to Enhance Services in East Central Uganda. The primary motive of the grants opportunity is to increase utilization of health services, by strengthening systems, improving quality of services, increasing availability of, access to and demand for quality services and supporting the health sector to sustain higher utilization rates.
Following selection for award, a Recipient will receive an electronic copy of the notice of award signed by the Agreement Officer which serves as the authorizing document. The USAID/Uganda will issue one or more awards worth maximum $57,000,000 for a period of five-year. The award shall not provide for the reimbursement of pre-award costs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be US or non-US organizations, non-profit, or for-profit entity.
- USAID encourages applications from potential new partners.
- Applications must clearly mention at least 5% cost share.
- Technical application can be maximum 30 pages
- Applications must be submitted via email. Technical application and cost application must be in two separate emails.
Complete application materials include – curriculum vitae of key personnel; letter of commitment; draft activity monitoring and evaluation plan; past performance references and information; representations and certifications; assurances; organizational chart; and sustainability plan.
