European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) is seeking proposals for Country-based Support Scheme in Ukraine, which is supported by Europe Aid. The aim of this program is to strengthen the role of Ukrainian civil society in promoting human rights, gender equality and democratic reform, in facilitating the peaceful conciliation of group interests, and in consolidating political participation and representation.
This Call for Proposals is divided into two lots, each with its own specific objectives and priorities, as follows–
- Lot 1 “Respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms”
- Lot 2 “Election processes and monitoring of the EU-Ukraine Association Agenda”
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 2344 000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- belong to the following category as defined per article 10 of the EIDHR Regulation8: civil society organisations, including non-governmental organisations9 and independent political foundations, community based organisations, and private sector non-profit agencies, institutions and organisations, and networks thereof at local, national, regional and international level and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
