The Visegrad Eastern Partnership program (V4EaP) enhance the cooperation between the Visegrad region and countries of the Eastern Partnership (EaP)—Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The main aims are facilitating the unique know-how of the Visegrad countries with social and economic transformation, democratization and regional cooperation particularly through the development of civil society and support of cooperation among local governments, universities and individual citizens.
Grant Size & Duration
Application can be made for grants up to €6,000 per project for six (6) months duration.

Project categories
There are six categories into which Small Grants projects are divided. Applicants decide which category best fits the content of their project-
- cultural cooperation (film and theater festivals, exhibitions, publications)
- education (seminars, education workshops, summer schools)
- scientific exchange and research (academic workshops, conferences)
- youth exchanges (summer camps, school exchanges)
- cross-border cooperation (site-specific, locally or regionally relevant projects)—applicants and project partners cannot have their seats further than 80 km from given border (projects in this category can involve two or three countries.
- promotion of tourism (tourist portals or brochures, promotion of concrete sites)
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be any legal entity or natural person worldwide is eligible for funding, provided that the given project proposal deals with topics relevant to the V4 region and promotes cooperation among project partners in the region.
- Preferences are given to applicants from non-governmental, civil society organizations (NGOs/CSOs), municipalities and local governments, public schools and universities, research and scientific bodies and public institutions in general.
- Proposed project must involve at least three entities (including the applicant) from three different V4 countries. In case of ‘Cross-Border Cooperation’, minimum two countries must be involved.
- The proposed project must promote the concept of Visegrad cooperation.
- Past grantees can reapply for the grant provided that all previous projects were completed and the Final Reports were duly approved by the Fund

Application forms are available through an online system. Applicants need to register with a valid e-mail address to start a new application form. Accompanying documentation-
