The European Commission has issued a call for proposals to support Non-State Actors in Zambia. The global objective of this Call for Proposals is strengthen civil society in Zambia as a precondition for a more equitable, open and democratic society.
The specific objective (s) of this Call for Proposals is/are:
- NSAs contribute to human development by
- Promoting service delivery in the areas of education, health and sustainable livelihoods.
- Promoting corporate social responsibility
- NSAs participate in policy dialogue in their areas of core competencies.
- NSAs are enabled to foster effective networking and maintain collaborative relationships with government with a view to benefit populations out of mainstream services.
The overall indicative amount (subject to approval of Annual Action Programme 2012) made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 6,000,000.
