Scholarships opportunity 2013 for Southern African applicants at University of Edinburgh

University of Edinburgh is providing Scholarship funding to the applicants from Southern African countries in any subject to promote Master’s & PhD degree level programm.

The scholarship covers the overseas rate of tuition fee and University accommodation for the duration of the postgraduate degree programme.

Eligibility–

• The scholarship will be awarded to applicants from Southern African countries who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study or PhD degree programme at the University of Edinburgh.
• Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.

How to apply?

• Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.
• Applicant should complete the following details-

1. Applicant’s personal details
2. Details of any degrees applicant holds or expect to hold
3. Any relevant details from their employment or training history
4. Details of journals they have had published
5. The topic of proposed research
6. A research outline of no more than 300 words
7. A personal statement of no more than 300 words
8. Details of any other scholarships or awards applicant holds or have held.

Countries/Region– Congo, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe
