The Global Poverty Action Fund (GPAF) is a demand-led fund supporting projects emphasizing on poverty reduction as well as pursuit of the Millennium Development Goals. This is being done through concrete changes to poor people’s lives through service delivery, empowerment and accountability, work on conflict, security and justice. Projects will be selected on the basis of demonstrable impact on poverty, clarity of outputs and outcomes and value for money.
The opening dates of the 3rd Impact funding and 4th Innovation rounds will be announced in April 2012. Provisional grants have been awarded for the 2nd Innovation round, and provisional grantees will now go through the due rigorous process.
