The Air France Foundation, established as a corporate foundation in 1992, provides funding to charitable projects aimed at providing education and training for children and young people who are ill, disabled or in big trouble. The Foundation supports projects of educational and leisure activities to give these underprivileged population the opportunity to return to school, to attend training and especially to live with other children of their age. The foundation partners with associations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to support the targeted children and youth with financial and technical support. The Air France Foundation supports organizations and associations in those countries where the Air France is present.

Eligibility criteria
- The Foundation funds only charitable projects. Any submission for a project must be accompanied by administrative and legal documents proving the existence of the association and its accounts.
- Project leaders must be experts in the field of childhood, in the conduct of projects and know the terrain in which they operate. The project leaders must have a good command of the socio-economic and socio-cultural, national and local level.
