Justification
This activity will provide information about the potential livelihood sectors on which the project has to intensively work during next two and half years. Although some identification has been made in previous research, this activity will generate community inputs in strategically and specifically designing services according to the current economic trends.
Role of Partners
Proponent Organization: Proponent Organization will train partner NGOs and develop the overall plan to undertake participatory research in identifying the potential livelihood sectors in the project area. The information gathered from this identification process will be processed into a report and a strategy on the same will be developed and presented by Proponent Organization
Partner NGOs: Partner NGOs will receive training in gathering information about potential livelihoods in the project area. They will actively work with grassroots communities in collecting information on these through participatory research techniques.
