The overall objectives of the proposed action are:
- To reduce the impact of conflict on the socio-economic conditions of conflict-affected communities in six districts of Nepal.
- To alleviate poverty in the conflict-affected regions of the six districts of Nepal by optimally utilizing local and development resources in collaboration with local stakeholders including communities, civil society and governmental agencies.
The specific objective of the proposed action is:
To enhance skills, knowledge and resources of conflict-affected communities, civil society NGOs and local governmental institutions for achieving social rehabilitation, economic empowerment and long-term sustainability of community-based services.
