Israel Institute invites foreign students who wish to commence B.A. or M.A. studies in Israel for English-Language Study Abroad Scholarships. The major aim of the scholarship program is to expand and deepen Israel Studies as an academic field. For this, the students are prepared to become the next generation of scholars and community leaders for Israel, as many are likely to take their interest and expertise in Israel and pursue careers, academic and otherwise, that keep them engaged with Israel.
The scholarships amount of $4,000 is awarded for one year. Students can apply to extend the duration of scholarship by applying in the subsequent years.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Only the students who have been accepted to the University of Haifa’s International Master’s Degree Program in Israel Studies and to Modern Jewish & Israel Studies majors in Tel Aviv University’s International B.A. in Liberal Arts are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Students must demonstrate highest caliber and the applications should reflect the Institute’s goal of advancing knowledge and study of modern Israel.
- Foreign students who wish to earn their B.A. or M.A. in Israel are invited to apply for the above mentioned universities and degrees to be eligible for the scholarship.
Complete application includes – resume, statement of purpose, high school and undergraduate transcripts in case of B.A. students and undergraduate and graduate transcripts in case of M.A. students.
