Policy analysts, experts, advisers, civil servants, private sector/NGO professionals and journalists from the Eastern Partnership region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) are invited to submit applications to participate in Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA) Second Edition to be held from 6-19 July 2014. Purpose of the program is to throw light on various aspects of the mobility perceived from the state, regional and global perspectives.
Candidates in their mid-career (having at least 5-year experience) within a field of the WEASA mandate are given priority. The costs covered are for travel, accommodation and educational cost during the period.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must hold citizenship and be permanent resident of one of the Eastern Partnership countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine;
- Applicant must hold higher education (Master’s degree or equivalent) with minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- Applicant must be proficient in English language to effectively participate in lectures and seminars.
Complete application includes – completed application form, and a work sample (publication in English) or an essay on ‘Mobility – an impetus for the EaP states’ sustainable development‘ up to 1200 words.
