Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) through its investment in the Eastern Afromontane Biodiversity Hotspot is inviting all civil society organizations in Ethiopia to submit letters of inquiry for projects contributing to the following:
- Mainstream biodiversity into wider development policies, plans and projects to deliver the co- benefits of biodiversity conservation, improved local livelihoods and economic development,
- Improve the protection and management of the KBA network throughout the hotspot.
The investment will support civil society in applying innovative approaches to conservation in under-capacitated and underfunded protected areas, Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA) and priority corridors in the region.
The fundamental goal is to ensure civil society is engaged in biodiversity conservation.
Budget Information
The eligible budget for the grant program will be USD 20,000 or less.
Eligibility Criteria
Civil Society Organizations only from Ethiopia are eligible to apply for the grants.
