Bodossaki Foundation calls for NGO proposals on ‘Increased Provision of Welfare and Basic Services to Defined Target Groups’ under the NGO program ‘We are all Citizens’ of EEA Grants NGO Fund in Greece. The major aim of the call is to increase the provision of welfare and basic services to socially vulnerable groups of Greek society.
The selected NGOs will implement projects that will increase the provision of basic and welfare services and reduce social inequalities, poverty, social exclusion (including rural areas) amongst socially vulnerable groups including homeless, unemployed, people affected by HIV/AIDS, Injecting Drug Users, inhabitants of rural and remote areas and children. The areas of support are – social inequalities; eradication of poverty; and eradication of social exclusion, including in rural areas.
The size of grants is – minimum EUR 10,000; maximum EUR 50,000 for small grants and minimum EUR 50,001; maximum EUR 250,000 for large grants. The project must end no later than 30 April 2016.
Eligibility Criteria –
- All projects developed must comply with following principles – good governance, social sustainability, economic sustainability, environmental considerations, and gender equality.
- Eligible activities may be food and basic services for those in need; housing, cleaning services and social support for the homeless and in general socially vulnerable groups for those at risk of eviction; access to health care services for socially vulnerable groups; implementation of prevention and treatment programs (HIV, tuberculosis) contributing to public health; psychological support programs; treatment and psychological support for those dependent on substances; legal support for the most vulnerable parts of the population; social support for the unemployed; provision of services to persons with disabilities; social inclusion programs for youth and socially vulnerable groups.
- All projects must be implemented throughout the Greek territory on a local, regional or national level.
