Interested Civil Society Organizations are invited to participate in “DAWRAK-Citizens for Dialogue Programme announced by Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation. The goal of this program is to promoting exchange among Arab CSOs, and between Euro-Med and Arab CSOs. ALF seeks to support young CSOs members who have a long term vision of change and are active in their communities to gain grassroots expertise, engage in field work actions and awareness campaigns for a period of 1 to 3 months (preference to 3 months).
Thematic areas-
- Intercultural Dialogue encouraging exchange and participation in public life
- Social and Cultural Diversity as tool for cohesion and cooperation
- Democracy-related practices and awareness actions in civil society
- New approaches to human development, integrating socio economic and environmental dimension
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Exchange Actor (EA)-
- Be a national or a legal resident of one of the 42 Euro-Med Partnership countries, Libya or Syria
- Be a professional/member of a registered organisation in the Euro-Med region
- Be at least 18 years old with the start of the traineeship service
- Was never employed at/contracted by the Anna Lindh Foundation Secretariat
- Have excellent knowledge of at least one of the following languages (English, French and Arabic). Knowledge of two would be an asset
- Be working on a project related to the Programme’s 4D themes
- Sending and Hosting Organizations-
- Be a legal person (not a physical person) such as non-governmental organizations, private or public institutions working on a project related to the Programme’s 4D themes. Private for profit entities can apply and will be required to sign a statement declaring that the purpose of the traineeship service is not for profit
- Be registered4 in one of the 42 Euro-Med countries
- Have the technical capacity to host and supervise EA.
