Applications are accepted for Chevening Scholarship Program offered to Ethiopia and Djibouti applicants. The mission of this program is to attract talented professionals who are potential future leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers.

A Chevening Scholarship in Ethiopia and Djibouti includes: a monthly stipend, travel to and from their country via an approved route, an arrival and excess baggage allowance, a thesis or dissertation grant, the cost of an entry clearance visa and tuition fees up to £12,000. If the tuition fees of their chosen course exceed this amount, please note that they may be required to supplement the balance of their award.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country at the time of applying for the award, and intend to return there at the end of the period of study
- hold a degree that is equivalent to at least an upper second-class honours degree in the UK
- demonstrate that they have achieved the minimum Chevening English language requirement
- have completed at least two years’ work or equivalent experience before applying their country
