Proposals are accepted for Cross-border Programme Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro under EuropeAid. The purpose of this program is to accelerate the economic development of the eligible areas by creating employment opportunities.
Objectives–
- To promote sustainable development of the programme area so as to stimulate the economy and reduce the relative isolation
- To support the establishment of joint actions and strategies aiming at protecting and valorising the environmental resources of the area
- To re-establish cross border cooperation through strengthening previous cross border economic and cultural contacts
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be specific types of organisations such as: non-governmental organisations, public sector operators, local/cantonal/entity/states authorities
- be established in Bosnia and Herzegovina when applying for funds assigned to Bosnia and Herzegovina or in Montenegro when applying for funds assigned to Montenegro at least 12 months before the publication of this call
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- belong to one of the following categories-
- local and regional public authorities and their institutions
- associations of municipalities
- local business support organizations such as chambers of commerce, business centres, SME associations, sectoral and professional associations, local trade associations, etc, and social partners
- tourism and cultural organisations/associations
- non-governmental organizations and foundations, including the Red Cross and Red Crescent national societies
- bodies supporting the workforce
- national authorities/institutions or state agencies
- bodies and organisations, including NGOs, for nature protection
- Public companies or bodies in charge of communal infrastructure, water and waste management (utility companies)
- fire/emergency services
- Agricultural associations and cooperatives established as non-profit legal entities
- Public bodies (funds, institutions, agencies) established by the state or a regional/local self government such as: research and development institutions, education and training institutions, health care institutions, institutions for cultural heritage, local and regional development agencies, tourist associations (including tourist boards), et etc.
