The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through the Regional Contracting Office in Kyiv, Ukraine is seeking applications from qualified organizations for funding of an activity entitled “Economic Opportunities for People Affected by Conflict (EOPAC) in Ukraine”.
The purpose of the Economic Opportunities for People Affected by Conflict (EOPAC) in Ukraine activity is to help people affected by the hostilities in the East to find gainful employment or practical skills to support themselves and their families, establish or relocate small businesses, and strengthen the capacity of Non-Governmental Organizations and small businesses/private sector participants that provide assistance to conflict-affected populations.
Objectives
- Facilitate new jobs/skills development for conflict-affected people.
- Establish and/or relocate small businesses (in different areas)
Funding Information
- USAID will award up to three Cooperative Agreement(s) based on the activity.
- Subject to funding availability, USAID intends to provide $2,500,000 (cumulative amount for all awards) in total USAID funding over a 2-year period.
Eligibility Criteria
Any local (Ukrainian) non-governmental or commercial organizations in Ukraine, who are able to respond to the NFO and be able to mobilize in a short period of time, are eligible to apply for the programme.
