The Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit 2015 is calling proposals for the summit. The 9th Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit is designed to increase the impact, scale, and sustainability of youth economic opportunity programming.
Presenting at the Summit will enhance participants’ ability to gain visibility, highlight their expertise, and expand their network. The summit will take place from October 6-8 2015.
Themes and Technical Tracks
The theme of 2015 Summit is “Scale in Practice”. Technical tracks are listed below:
- Workforce Development
- Enterprise Development
- Financial Inclusion
- Gender
- Monitoring and Evaluation
Selection Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated using the following criteria:
- Quality and mix of presenters
- Proposed session is introducing a new topic/issue/angle to the field
- Proposal clearly demonstrates learning and concrete, transferable take-away
- Extent to which session is participatory
- Relevance to the Summit’s identified priority topics (theme, technical tracks, cross-cutting topics)
- Session’s program, tool or equivalent has been evaluated
- Inclusion of meaningful youth participation
