Proposals are invited for European Neighborhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD) in Georgia under Europe Aid to increase the food production in Georgia and a reduction in rural poverty. The goal of this program is to focus on various specific aspects of the Strategy, including the topic of Strengthened co-operation amongst small farmers in order to increase production and reach economies of scale, by establishing business-oriented co-operation forms.
The ENPARD Programme also foresees a Small Farmers Co-operation component, aiming to support to the establishment of business-oriented small farmers’ groups (i.e. business-oriented organizations like cooperatives and alike). The programme allocates EUR 15 M for this purpose. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 36 months nor exceed 48 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non profit making
- be non-governmental organisations
- be established in Georgia or in a Member State of the European Union, and in this second case, to co-apply with at least one organization established in Georgia
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- have demonstrable experience of at least 3 years in implementing agriculture and/or rural development projects in Georgia within the last 10 years
