Proposals are invited for NGO Fund of the EEA/Norwegian Financial Mechanism for Hungarian NGOs. The grant is offered by Hungarian Environmental Partnership Foundation – Ökotárs Alapítvány (HEPF) , with Autonomia Foundation, Foundation for Development of Democratic Rights (DEMNET) and the Carpathian Foundation-Hungary. Micro-projects objective is to “Strengthened civil society development and enhanced contribution to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.”
The amount to be distributed for the micro projects in this round is maximum 1 050 000 €. The duration of a project can be maximum 12 months while there is no minimum duration.

- gender and equal opportunities
- community and organizational development
- youth and children issues
- environment and sustainable development
- provision of welfare and basic service to vulnerable groups
- empowerment of vulnerable groups, including Roma
How to apply?
- Applications must be submitted (in a one-phase procedure) online, through filling the application and budget form through website. After registering with the organization’s name and e-mail address. On the application form the thematic are must be selected! No other documents have to be submitted.
- Applicants are kindly asked applicants to read the questions carefully and give brief and definite answers to them, focused to the point. Generalized descriptions should be avoided.
- In case of technical or other problems occurring with the on-line program, please consult the responsible foundations – listed in website.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- A “non-governmental organization” (NGO), is eligible for support within the NGO Fund if it is established in Hungary and meets the following definition: “A non-profit voluntary organization established as a legal entity, having a non-commercial purpose, independent of local, regional and central government, public entities, political parties and commercial organizations.”

- Social cooperatives
- Organizations supported in earlier rounds of the NGO Fund (2008-2011) can apply.
