The WZB Berlin Social Research Center and Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) are jointly inviting candidates for Journalist in Residence Fellowship Program. Each fellow is offered with monthly research stipend of 3.500 Euro.
The Journalist in Residence Fellowship enables journalists to work as visiting scholars at the WZB for a period between six weeks and three months. During this period, fellows can pursue his or her own research.
This program aims to focus on problems of modern societies in a globalized world. The research is theory-based, problem-oriented, often long-term and mostly based on international comparisons.

Eligibility & Criteria-
Staff reporters and freelance journalists from regional and national media who regularly report on scientific subjects or topics in politics, social issues and economics.
