Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund is accepting proposals for funding to advance projects supported by community economic development strategies either at the community or regional level. Supported projects must evidence benefits to the local community and its members in the Community Futures Development Corporation service delivery area (see attached listing of eligible communities). A maximum of $5,000 can be approved for an individual project.
Eligibility & Criteria-
Eligible activities could include pre-feasibility studies, research projects, community ICT strategies and projects, projects to promote innovation and new technology, E-Commerce promotion, development of on-line business services, environmental assessment reports, small-scale capital projects, seminars/workshops, marketing/promotional activities, community tourism and/or other community-based activities that enhance the local economy.
