Republic of Slovenia Ministry of Economic Development and Technology is accepting proposals from eligible legal entities to co-finance their projects by either Norwegian Financial Mechanism Program 2009-2014 or European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism Program 2009-2014.
The objective of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 is to contribute to the reduction of socio-economic disparities in the European Economic Area (EEA) and strengthening of bilateral relations between Norway and the Beneficiary State to the mutual benifit of their people. EEA Financial Mechanism Program accepts proposals for projects on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, Natural Heritage and Cultural Heritage. Each individual project areas have their individual objectives and eligibility.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Any legal entity under public law or legal entity under private law, having a seat in the Republic of Slovenia or in the Donor State, or inter-governmental organisation that actively participates in the implementation of the project and contributes to its effective implementation is eligible to apply.
- Eligible partner in the projects under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism Program 2009-2014 is any legal entity under public law or legal entity under private law having a seat in the Kingdom of Norway.
- Eligible partner in the project under the EEA Financial Mechanism Program 2009-2014 is any legal entity under public law or legal entity under private law having a seat in the Kingdom of Norway, Iceland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.
