All interested organizations are invited to submit proposals for Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development Program. The aim of this program is to co-finance actions proposed by non-State actors (NSA) to promote and strengthen a broad-based and inclusive civil society in Afghanistan, which is capable and willing to engage with communities and Government authorities at all levels of policy, economic and social issues, with an aim to promoting dialogue and the accountability and transparency of state entities.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 2,000,000. The planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 nor exceed 48 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit making
- be Non State Actors constituted in accordance with the legislation in force in the applicant’s country of registration
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or in any eligible countries as per the relevant provisions of the DCI regulation
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary and
- Applicants from a Member State of the European Union must have been registered for at least three years at the time of submission, while applicants from Afghanistan must have been registered for two years at the time of submission.
