Student Reporter is inviting current Masters-level Journalism Students who have 3+ years professional experience in newsroom to apply for the ‘Student Reporter Editor Fellowship 2014’. The four-month long fellowship program is designed to launch and manage the journalism student’s coverage project around a business or economics phenomena.
Fellows are awarded a stipend of $3,000(US) and project budget capped at $4,000 which can be used for recruiting writers, field reporting trips, events, and travel.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be current Masters-level journalism students (or similar degree).
- Applicants must have 3+ years professional experience in a newsroom, as a freelance journalist, or journalism educator. Experience as an editor is a plus.
