Proposals are accepted for supporting Contribution of CSOs Active in the Field of Volunteering to Strengthening of Economic and Social Cohesion under Europe Aid. The goal of this program is to support the role of civil society organisations active in the field of volunteering in the process of strengthening economic and social cohesion in the Republic of Croatia.
Objectives-
- to increase the number of Croatian citizens participating in volunteering activities conducive to enhancement of their employment opportunities;
- to increase the number of civil society organisations and public institutions implementing volunteering activities and engaging volunteers;
- to promote partnerships between civil society organisations and public institutions in the field of volunteering on national, regional and local levels.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is €1.000.000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 24 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be civil society organisations or formal networks of civil society organisations of the following legal status: associations, business associations, trade unions, foundations, legal entities of religious communities, and social cooperatives
- be established in a Member State of the European Union and a Member State of the European Economic Area, Croatia, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, including Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99 as well as of other countries eligible under Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 of 17th July 2006 establishing an Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA)
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies),not acting as an intermediary
