Proposals that take a holistic approach to improving health outcomes by engaging with the key areas of medical equipment, patient safety, and/or leadership and management, in order to maximize the potential for interventions to have a sustainable and institution-wide impact, are highly encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Institutions are – UK institutions formally recognized as a health education, regulatory or healthcare delivery institution including professional associations. Overseas partner institutions should be not-for-profit clinic or hospital.
- Applications must be made by established Health Partnerships who have not previously received funding under the Health Partnership Scheme (not individual partners).
- Projects must be operating within low- or middle-income countries.
- Approach to the project should be appropriate and relevant to the local context.
- Proposed project must engage short and/or long-term volunteers in order to deliver project activities.
- Applicants should use separate emails to send more than one application.
Letters of support from each institution must be submitted along with the application.
