The foundation is based on the idea: leverage 1% of the company’s product, equity and time to improve communities around the world.
Foundation also provides:

- New programs or program expansions for organizations that are well-established and working at a national or international level
Since its inception in 2000, the Salesforce Foundation has given more than $85 million in grants across the global nonprofit sectors.
