In all of Asia, 750 million people lack access to lights. Children use kerosene oil to study, which deteriorates their health. The Korea Green Foundation Asia is serious about the issues and has begun a campaign that targets to get 10,000 solar lamp sets donated to families in Indonesia, Nepal and Laos and nearby regions.
KGF is continuously working to better the livelihood of impoverished people in Asia.
Benefits of the Solar Lamp

Anyone with access to a computer monitor can charge her/his solar power-LED lamp set and generate light anywhere. Cell Phones and other electronics can be safely charged using hte built in USB port. It works for 10 hours on four hours of charging. The Solar Panel will work for 20 years. The Solar Panel is accompanied with rechargable battery that works for 8 years.
Besides this, the KGF will provide monthly home checkups, panel workshop for residents every three months, and one year warranty on the panel systems as part of Solar Panel System Maintenance and Care.
