The Board approved the Biodiversity Foundation, in its written agreement dated 30 March 2012 the regulatory bases for granting aid for the Biodiversity Foundation, on a competitive basis, for activities in the field of biodiversity, climate change and sustainable development.
Through this call, the Biodiversity Foundation, aware of the important role the media can play as providers of objective information to citizens and opinion makers, aims to promote development of actions aimed at increasing the presence of environmental information in means. The significant development of new information technologies and the existence and about 25 million Internet users in Spain also opened an opportunity unprecedented leverage new digital channels as a means of education, information and awareness.
