The ESCAP Trust Fund is calling for project proposals to build and enhance tsunami, disaster and climate preparedness capacities, particularly in end-to-end early warning for coastal hazards.
Since its inception, the Trust Fund has proved to be a useful mechanism to strengthen the regional dimension of early warning and climate applications and to provide specific support to countries based on a regional approach.

Geographic Scope
Indian Ocean and Southeast Asian Countries: Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Viet Nam.
Pacific Island Countries: Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
Eligibility Criteria
Governments, Intergovernmental organizations, UN agencies, funds and programmes, Academic institutions, Non-governmental organizations (not for profit) from the above mentioned countries are eligible to apply.
